I've switched bank accounts do I need to tell hmrc/child benefit

I recently completed a switch from one bank account to another and I'm not sure if all payments that went into tge other account will automatically go into the new one? Thanks 😁

I'd tell them. Saves any time trying to chase up payments if they are sent to your old account.

You need to tell them..but l switched banks 6 months ago and payments still getting forwarded from my old bank, my son accidentally paid some money into my old account last week and it was in my new account next day. I'm sure it wont keep forwarding forever though
