What can I do to get my nasty neighbours to just leave me alone?

They've had run ins with quite a few people - even as far as their elderly neighbour having to tell them she no longer wants them as the contact for her falls alarm

It seems it's now my turn........for example I arrange a scrap man to collect some bits and put it by the lamp post so it was easy to stop.

Our houses face a green so I couldn't put it outside the house. I've just had the woman pick it up, knock on my door and start screaming at me for dumping rubbish on her doorstep and they man shouting from their house how I'm a fucking pig. I've previously been called a slapper, a fat bitch. They're just horrible, they once reported my neighbours for antisocial behaviour as their kids were running around on the green. The man also had an 80 year old woman in tears as he shouted at her about her trees dropping leaves.

I just walked off with the woman shouting at me. They've always been difficult - she even started shouting abuse at my Tesco delivery men before

This is causing me so much stress I hate coming home as I feel like they're watching - anyone who walks to my house activates their camera despite my house being a good 50m from theirs

Is it private housing or social housing?

What to do:

  1. Keep a log of every incident (collaborate with other neighbours on it)
  2. Google how to report antisocial behaviour in your local authority - in mine we have to phone the police on 101. If there is a record of lots of reports and nothing has been done, then there is something called a "Community Trigger" where the reports can be reviewed.

People like this only respond to being given it back. Tell them to get the fuck or your properly and that if they so much as look in your direction again you’ll call the police.

It sounds like you're doing the right thing but not engaging with it as far as you can. Sadly they will probably move on to someone else soon.

They're all privately owned houses. The lady immediately next door I'm quite friend with. She told me this morning the lady who lives in the next house again has had awful problems too

Perhaps I should report to the police just so there's a record?
