Best type of nightdress with broken shoulder?

DM is in hospital with a broken shoulder, and HATES wearing a hospital gown. She'll need to wear a sling for a good few weeks after she's discharged, any suggestions on what might be the easiest nightwear, for now and for when she's on her own at home? She's 77, size 16ish, think a nightie might be better than PJ's because of pulling the bottoms up?

There are front opening options, either buttons or zips - ignore the maternity one obviously! It depends what she thinks she will be able to manage.
