Best Christmas TV of all time?

This Christmas I plan to basically hibernate with the pup and have a quiet one. I’ve got a list of books to read, but I’m thinking about what I can watch. So what are all of your must watch TV shows/specials to watch at this time of year?

I’ll get things started with Inside No.9 - The Devil of Christmas, and the Father Ted and League of Gentleman Christmas specials. Oh and Ghost Stories for Christmas too, of course

I never ‘got’ The Muppets, either.

We’d never watched the Royle Family until one Christmas when my DM was with us. Years ago, she’s long gone now, but I’ll always remember her laughing until she cried. That 🎄special was an absolute hoot.
And afterwards, dds only had to say, ‘Y’all right there, Nana?’ to set DM off all over again. 😂❤️

Royle Family for me.

I can’t really be doing with Christmas films. The only one I really like is Fanny and Alexander. Again, my friends and family are all aghast I don’t like Elf or Home Alone or Die Hard. Christmas TV seems to hit the spot more for me for some reason!

Miranda and Gavin and Stacey for us. Every Xmas Eve. And the Royle family, but only if DC aren't in the room as they don't get it!

I tell a lie, I do quite like Gremlins but I Cousy watch it every year!

You don't like home alone?! 😱

Nope but I must admit to slight film snob tendencies. I’d sooner watch it than Elf, which I think is totally dire, though!

I enjoy Bill Murray's Scrooged every year. Also, National Lampoon's Christmas vacation.

The good life Christmas special, definitely not anything post about 1990
