I’ve received a message in my journal saying the following:

This is the Enhanced Review Team contacting you about your claim to Universal Credit. We have doubts about the legitimacy of your claim. To resolve this doubt on your claim to Universal Credit please contact 0800 328 5644. If we do not hear from you by 27/12/2023, your claim will be closed. Thank you.

It’s made me extremely anxious as I have no idea what it’s about. I’ll call the number but I am unable to sleep and I just wondered if anyone else has received a message like this? Can anyone shed some light on it for me please? I’ve been on UC since 2018 and have never had anything like this before.

So long as you haven't told lies/made false claims/hidden assets, you'll be fine 👍

It's most likely to be a case of missing or outdated paperwork which they'll ask you to (re-)submit.

No point in worrying until there is something about which to worry, really.

Hi did you get any update from UC? What documents were they after and why did they contact you?

Hello I applied month a go for uc today I saw payment of £78 so I called them saying what is just that,so they said my rent help was not inclwhen I applied,I send all my docs first time bank stat/tenancy agreement/payslip/ passport/ and now I saw in my journal that Risk review team will contact me in 2 days what is that mean
