Dad is a Blue Badge holder, occasionally he comes to see me on the train and brings his badge with him so we can go to see his family, shop in some specialty shops etc.

How do I park in a Blue Badge spot whilst dropping him off at the station? He has to take his badge with him... is it simply just dropping him close to the doors, whizzing into the multi storey, and legging it to escort him to his train?

I wondered if there was a smart answer to this question!

My dad was a blue badge holder. He used the train a few times every year to visit family in a different city. I would run him up to the station and park the car in the station car park( no station parking now) so I could make sure he got to the correct platform and find his seat on the train.I went to the information desk in the car park and gave details of the blue badge and car registration so my dad could take his badge with him. No idea how other stations operate.

When I've done this I've dropped at the door they've sat and waited for me to park where i normally would, then I go and help them before returning to the car park
