Lakeland. What else to buy?

ItsTapasTime · 28/11/2023 19:45

Im going to put an order in at Lakeland, as something that is on my DH’s Christmas list is on offer there. As the postage will be free, are there any other ‘must buy’ products? I used to love the Christmas catalogue, but they don’t send it anymore 🙁. Nothing too expensive. No more electrical gadgets.

They have a very nice quality heated blanket on offer for £41.99!
if you have small children, their Christmas crackers have a selection of wooden toys which my child was enjoying playing with at the in store display

Perfectlystill · 28/11/2023 19:51

The bin bags are very good. Ditto the stacking Tupperware.

Can't believe I just wrote that. Tragic.

ItsTapasTime · 28/11/2023 19:52

@GladioliandSweetPeas i have many 😉 electric blankets, but I will have a look at the crackers. Thanks

😂 But very helpful

OhpoorMe · 28/11/2023 19:56

Clipits, freezer tubs, microwaveable saucepans, and their dishwasher safe non stick overwear

OhpoorMe · 28/11/2023 19:56

*ovenwear, not dungarees 😂

DreamingInPhosphorescence · 28/11/2023 19:57

Strong clingfilm and foil.
And I second the stacking plastic tubs.

GellerYeller · 28/11/2023 20:00

The fruit flavoured licorice. Meat thermometers. Those Velcro balls that stop fluff sticking to your darks in the washing machine. The Bake o Glide range range. Joy…

SausagePastaForTea · 28/11/2023 20:02

Flexmats. Just brilliant for transferring chopped stuff into the pan/ bowl

Also licorice

IntheSnowySnowyMountains · 28/11/2023 20:08

Extra thick oven gloves!

And toaster bags (to make toasted sandwiches in your toaster).

NigelHarmansNewWife · 28/11/2023 20:09

I like the latex free washing up gloves in small. Ooh the excitement! Freezer labels. E cloths.

ItsTapasTime · 28/11/2023 20:16

Ooh, lots of suggestions. I’ll check them out after Bake Off.

A lekue microwave grill!

NowNumber5 · 28/11/2023 20:19

Their Stayfresh bags.
Thanks to my dear MiL, I’ve got a good supply 😊

Are you allowed to be on Mumsnet if you like your mother in law? 😂

The white moisturising washing up gloves. Not very glamorous but nice!

JamMakingWannaBe · 28/11/2023 20:33

I've recently bought their bathroom mould spray and it's very effective.
Soup bags.
Covers for bowls to keep things covered in the fridge.
The felt things to keep saucepans from scratching when stacked.
They had an air fryer recipe book I was quite tempted to buy.

TroysMammy · 28/11/2023 20:41

Falafel maker
Garlic slice and dice
Burger press
Microplaner makes light work of lemons, limes and ginger
Lifting forks, excellent for getting whole chicken out of the airfryer

MadMadMad · 28/11/2023 20:44

Not the burger press, they have redesigned it and it’s awful now!

Turmerictolly · 28/11/2023 22:17

ProvisionsOnTheDock · 28/11/2023 22:20

Good lord, don't buy stuff you don't need or even really want. Consumerism is beyond a joke.

honeybeetheoneandonly · 28/11/2023 22:34

Another vote for the lekue microwave grill. But only the smaller one. I love mine and also bought the bigger model which is rubbish. The smaller one is awesome though. Most amazing ham and cheese toastie or stuffed chicken breast in minutes...

I agree, get the small one!
