I went to nurse today to get my child her flu vaccine while I was there she noticed I had wheeze and coughing lots (I have a cold) she had a listen and told me my chest sounded grubby but didn't expand, any ideas what that meant?

She probably meant gunky or something like that - people sometimes say "it sounds like you've got a lot of gunk/rubbish/etc on your chest", and it just came out a bit wrong?

I think it's quite normal when you have a cold for your chest to sound gunky to be honest. Mine always is anyway, never need antibiotics or anything.
