Watching kids shows offline on iPad

What apps do you use to allow kids to watch things offline (whilst travelling)?

We have BBC iPlayer; but it's reasonably glitchy so like to have an alternative option. We've been using Disneyplus but can't really afford to keep paying £8/month. I did download the Bing app for 'emergencies' - £7.50 a year so at least there is something to watch but that's stopped working properly on DD's iPad despite me checking everything is uptodate (I've emailed support). What else is available?

We download things on Netflix, and we have also got YouTube premium which allows you to download, but only because my husband loves it I don't think many people would have this!

Thank you! Ideally I'm looking for things that don't need a subscription 😔
