We've lived in a noisy area for years; aircraft noise, motorways, and now our neighbours have become complete arseholes and play loud music every sunny day. I dream of walking out of the house and just hearing birds tweet. We've found a house that sits by itself in a bit cut out of a field. No neighbours in sight. 1 mile from the centre of a small town, still within 15 minutes drive of our old area and close friends.
What am I missing? Are there any reasons why this move would be a bad idea? I worry about being so isolated - will we get burgled more often? Please tell me what I need to know to make a good decision.
