Sharing lifts to a weekly event.

Can you help me decide what is right here?

I attend a weekly event with a neighbour and we take turns in driving. My husband is going to start coming too after Christmas.
My question is - should we drive twice and my neighbour once? Or do we just carry on taking turns weekly? 🤷

I think you drive twice. You’re two people.

piperpheobepruepaige · 27/11/2023 15:02

Yeah, I'd go you drive twice

Sceptre86 · 27/11/2023 15:55

Yep you guys drive twice.

KnottyKnitting · 27/11/2023 16:06

I don't see why having an extra person in the car makes a difference? Surely the petrol consumption would be the same?

ZenNudist · 27/11/2023 16:08

Stick with the arrangement as is. It's not about the driving it's about petrol and wear and tear on car. Split it across the households.

Sexlivesofthepotatomen · 27/11/2023 16:19

Nah to driving twice, OP and her DH will be in the car coming from the same place - should be split 2 ways between households

Weekly rotation

I think it should be weekly rotation. Waiting to hear what the neighbour thinks!
