Does anyone NOT have a hobbie?

I don't think I have any 'hobbies' I enjoy chilling and watching Netflix once the kids are in bed but I'm unable to think of any activities I am really interested in enough to consider them a hobby. Does anyone else NOT have a hobbie? Is it ok not to have one?

It's all life stages and collapsing in front of the tv after another exhausting day sounds very reasonable!

Hobbies become more doable and important in retirement

I’ve never had hobbies that involve leaving the house or interacting with others but still have hobbies - reading, crosswords, Lego, playing video games.

More of a pastime than a hobby though.

How are you defining pastime than hobby?

To me they are exactly the same, a hobby is something you do for entertainment to pass the time?

A good question, and one which I am not qualified to answer!!

Maybe a hobby is something where there is an end product - a collection of something, craft items produced, participation in some event or other, a sporting endeavour, some other achievement after years of practice, some great Lego creation, attending regular meetings with others similary-minded people, who knows?

I think of a pastime as something you do to literally pass the time, such as browsing on Rightmove when you're not intending to move anywhere, window shopping, reading a magazine, the occasional jigsaw, watching tv etc.
