Just about midway through series 6 and I’ve loved it and slightly grieving the end being nigh, but pretty much decided that with a few exceptions they are the worst of people. Shosh & Ray are pretty okay (although their series 1 relationship is a bit problematic to say the least) and Hermie is the only genuinely good guy in it.
Marnie is terrible person with no redeeming features except she’s very easy on the eye and none of the others are much better.
Despite all of this I love their characters and I can’t get enough of Elijah every time he’s on screen. I suppose it’s a testament to Lena Dunham’s writing that you care so much about these terrible people.
