Thrush after treatment HELP pls

TMI sorry.

I've used the gel pessary last night. Woke this morning, got in the bath straight away as it was yucky. And it's really bad. Can I use a tampon it's proper leaking. Also I've got an awful headache and I feel sick. I'm so tired too.

I've read not to use a tampon whilst the pessary is in but its dissolved now so I'm assuming a tampon would be safe to use...

I had a trip to the Gynaecologist this week about recurrent thrush. Something that was really hammered home to me was about not getting water from the bath or shower inside your vagina, including not using a handheld shower head near your genitals as the water pressure can cause some to get inside you. So be careful washing the pessary residue away.

Just let the pessary come out. It’s not going to last long, and it isn’t hurting you.
