Do I have any cancellation rights/options?

I bought a perfume on sale last night from Perfume Direct. They are one of those discount beauty online retailers. I had checked other sites I knew of and googled too but PD were the cheapest I could see. A few hours later when searching for some more presents I saw the same perfume about 30% cheaper elsewhere. I emailed PD customer services asking to cancel the order and received an automated response saying they'll get back to me when they can. This morning my order dispatched, which is darn quick compared to my previous two orders from this place!

Anyway, do I have any cancellation rights? Can I refuse the parcel? (I've never done that before, is it awkward as arse?)

Otherwise, I suck up the situation or I return it and pay the associated postage costs. Just wanted to check if I've any other options first.

Hardly the end of the world but I know the recipient would love the gift and like everyone I am trying to be price-conscious.

If you buy something online without seeing it then you have a 14 day cooling off period which starts the day you receive it. You will need to return it for a refund. This doesn't include things that deteriorate quickly such as food or flowers. If the business doesn't offer a 14 day cooling off period then they have to make this clear before you purchase it.
