Well I say old. 50 ish and menopausal and can barely lift a full kettle!

Can anyone recommend a beginners weight program that is nice and clear and build uppable? (Made up word!)

Thanks in advance

The nhs website

Amy body fit

Take it slow and steady to start - get the form right ( so body weight everything initially , all moves very slow

Ideally you would go to a few classes or get a PT for a few sessions to learn the technique but otherwise listen to your body - it shouldn't HURT

Ideally also mix in some yoga or Pilates - stretching , balance , core all really good for you and help prevent injuries

It takes time but don't rush it which can set you back

it is worth it

Oh and when you do moves unweighted you can clench the muscles to make it more effort - like bicep curl resist yourself lowering and raising
