Why is my burning after cold snap

The skin on my face is red and hiring after todays cold snap. Not massively cold and only outside for about 30 mins all day (car -errands-car-work-car-errands - car)

It's around my nose mouth and chin.

I've had this before but never got to the bottom of it. I had moisturiser and foundation on.

I washed using cerave oil to foam and the water sting and just but my usual face cream in on and it's burning

Any ideas what It is and how I can treat it?

Was your skin damp when you went outside?

Have you been using retinoids? I found my skin suffered in the winter when on retinoids

Dry skin. Possibly even sun burn if it was bright. I get this in winter.

Wind burn can do this, it feels like sunburn.

You can also be allergic to cold.
