Amazon invite only deal- anyone had an invite for anything?

Saw a ridiculously cheap tv deal on Amazon Black Friday, but you can’t buy, you have to apply for an invite? So I did and then added a couple of other deals just out of interest. Not heard anything for any of them and the last day is tomorrow. Has anyone had a code for any of the invite only deals? I’m wondering if I’m unlucky or if it’s a trick to make me want the things more!

Yes - the same TV as you I reckon! Seemed like a great deal but we can't justify it at the moment.

Yes - the TV as well. Not had an invitation to buy yet so don't think I'll be getting one.

I'm after the same tv. Not heard anything. I thought it went on until 26th.

There is another thread about this, seems a few have received their invites, some are saying there's were from 22nd til 25th and got their invites on 22nd and some today. Others were told there's would be between 25th and 27th.
I requested an invite but not heard anything, I'm not that lucky to get such a good deal.

It was called "did anyone request an invite for this". I was a bit sceptical at first but that thread has people on there that have bought the tv. We've been after a new tv for a while and was really hoping we'd be lucky enough.

Didn't get an invite just a loads of links to other deals - nowhere as good as the "offer"

Got an email to tell me I wasn't a lucky one and they've no more left. Would love to know how they decide who gets one as feels like a bit of a scam.

I also got the email to say sorry no tvs left. Really was hoping to get it too, need a newer model for the living room.

I got the email this evening to say no invites left too.

Those select few lucky enough to get them are already selling them (note the brand new one available)…..

Wanted the tv as don’t have one right now, didn’t get the invite. Slightly gutted

Didn’t get the invite either but they were selling it for £240 on Black Friday. It wasn’t a great tv, nowhere near £500!

This sounds like a scam.

Stupid scheme to be honest they would be better off having a prime members monthly draw for gift vouchers to reward loyalty like some banks do
