Anyone know London. Congestion charge query

Does anyone know London well and have knowledge of congestion charge? Coming from Manchester and going to Highbury we are arriving before 6pm today.

I Have had a look and it looks like we don’t go a route where you need to pay but am now second guessing myself?

Anyone any idea?

Highbury isn’t in the CC zone. It is in the ulez zone though.

The congestion zone charge doesn't start till a good mile or so south of Highbury.

Check your car is ULEZ compliant though as the ulez zone is most of greater London now.

You can register your vehicle via the TfL website for both charges, then if you do enter either without knowing in a non-compliant vehicle, you can auto-pay the charge and avoid any fines.

Highbury has an utterly awful LTN scheme also - so be really carefully when you turn off into any smaller residential roads that you are actually allowed to drive through them. Look for the signage. If you are using Waze hopefully it will keep you right.

Sign up for auto pay on the Transport for London website (it's free) and you'll automatically be charged if you enter a charged area.
