20th wedding anniversary gift for the man who has everything!

If you’ve passed your 20th wedding anniversary, what did you buy your DH?

I'm desperately trying to think of something, & wondered if anyone has any ideas? Even he doesn’t know what he wants.

The tradition for 20th is China or platinum. Chinas not something I’d buy him, & he doesn’t wear jewellery.

He has lots of watches already & has actually said not to get him one.

He has every gadget going, & has quite expensive tastes.

My budget is £2k, & ideally (although not essential), it will be something portable as we are away (abroad) over the anniversary so I wanted to take it with me.

Any ideas please?

Well I was going to suggest a mini break somewhere nice, but as you’re away already, you can’t do that.
can you take him out /do an activity whilst your there. Book a Michelin star meal?

Is there somewhere special you can both visit when you are abroad ?
Private tour of an Art Gallery or Museum?
A special dining spot?

My husband loves driving… we hired a sports car through the hotel for the day. It was fabulous.

Thank you for these suggestions.

I like the idea of hiring a sports car, which we can do when we get back as we’re going to New York & I don’t fancy the idea of driving round there! Plus we’ll have the kids with us.

I’ll look into that.

Don't buy him a gift.
It's not obligatory.
It's wasteful if he doesn't need or want anything.

We don't do gifts, it's a gift enough that I'm so putting up with him 🤣
We did two parties for our 25th though ❤️

we don’t normally bother either, tbh. Getting married at Christmas seemed like a good idea, but in reality it’s a bit awkward when it comes to gifts.

but this is 20 years so we thought it worth marking with something we can keep forever.

I’ve bought him a pen & ordered a ring today (despite him not wearing jewellery he suggested it) All sorted.
