Bread slicer

We have started making our own bread, if I dont find a solution to the slicing DH is going to launch the maker out the window...I bought one of those cheap manual ones, but it's not cutting it (see what I did there) is there anything better?!

I have the Kenwood SL250 Food Slicer. I've had it for quite a few years and it still works pretty well. I just looked it up and it seems to be unavailable on Amazon but there's a new one for sale on eBay

How about one of these? (And a seriously sharp knife).
