Royal Mail special delivery

I sold a designer bag a few days ago (£795)
sent it special delivery Monday insured to £750 it should have arrived yesterday by 1pm but nothing , the tracking says it’s at the buyers local delivery office and due to be delivered today ( yesterday) by 1pm
it’s not updated since .

what should I do ?

Will they contact the buyer to find out if it’s been delivered without signing or not arrived at all ? As the buyer has not contacted me yet but want to get this sorted
