Where to get decent quality mens' t-shirts?

DH wants some new t-shirts for Christmas. Where can I get men's t-shirts that are made of a good, thickish material that won't shrink in the wash and will last a while?

He's had mainly t-shirts from H&M and Next and they don't last very well. Since it's a Christmas present I'd like to spend a bit more and get something good. I've tried before but not much success so I wondered what you recommend?

Just plain colours or maybe stripes or motifs that are not too outlandish. Good quality basics.

I know it's a fairly boring Christmas present but that's what he wants!

I've found these from John Lewis have washed well, are a decent thickness & size. Come in lots of colours, can't fault them really

Rapanui is worth a look

I buy Gildan t-shirts off ebay. Not expensive and decent quality and lots of colours. I used to buy Fruit of The Loom but found they tended to shrink after a few washes. Gildas don't!

DH lives in Cotton Traders t-shirts. They wash well and last and don’t fade. He has one in every colour.
