T-shirt printing queries

How can I edit the photo to remove all background and replace it with what ultimately be the t-shirt colour?

Also, can anyone recommend where to have it printed on the t-shirt please?

Essentially what you need is to save the file as a png file, as that allows a clear/"non background", whereas a jpg will fill a blank bit with white.

I always used to use Gimp (yes, thats the programme name) - it's free to download. I used to go around it myself to delete/remove the background. There are other programmes that will probably do it automatically/intelligently these dayz, but I can't comment on that.

Ive had good results with this site - good print quality, and a good range of items to print on, to fit your budget and style
