Mattress Topper Help!

Hi - I am looking for recommendations for a mattress topper. Sorry, dullsville I know!

Cut a long story short I am sleeping on a VERY firm mattress and it is destroying my back (and hips). Nothing wrong with the mattress, but it is SO hard. Imagine not much different to lying on a carpeted floor.

I need a relatively thick mattress topper to put on it ASAP. Only trouble is there are so many available and I haven't a clue how to choose a good one.

Any recommendations appreciated (my poor back will be very grateful).

I've got a memory foam mattress topper from John Lewis. We've had it for quite a long time and it's lasted well.

I've a panda memory foam one on a firm hypnos mattress and it gives just the right amount of cushioning

We use the Rebound ones from Dunelm Mill. V nice.

Not a fan of memory foam.

I have the dorma memory foam one from Dunelm and its very good though would imagine will go on offer before too long.
