Baby name...

I think I must have lost my mind. I am categorically an Edward, Elizabeth, Caroline Peter kind of namer. Ffs, I've got a Grace!

But I've just been asked to be a godmother to my friend's gorgeous little girl- and I absolutely LOVE her name. Do I need an intervention? Any guesses? I've never heard this word used as a name before....

I do actually know an Amity. And I love Minim. Mind you, Crotchet would behave been more applicable to mine....

I think OPs enthusiasm for the name is due to being asked to be godmother. Which is, I guess, understandable.

I know- I amaze and shock myself. It's not about being a godmother- I have many godchildren. So no excuse there!

Actually as much as this is not my sort of name at all. I actually quite like it. Not a name I would use but can see the appeal.
