I'm looking at booking a few nights away for me, DP and DS who is 2. Looking for a lodge and planning to do 2 separate trips to Yorkshire railway museum and then the deep in hull. We stayed at allerthorpe country golf park last year and it was lovely albeit not much to do on site but not too much of a problem however would like to stay somewhere slightly different. I really want to take DS to the railway museum in York so ideally within an hours drive to there and an hours (ish) drive to the deep where we have been before and loved. We like lodges with hot tubs ideally but open to caravan parks if they have a swimming pool on site/things for kids. Budget is around £550 for 3 nights and looking to go in a few weeks so have left it quite last minute but hoping someone who is familiar with the area can help with recommendations!
