How to clean off old dirt from matte rubber wellies?

My daughter’s posh Barbour boots!!!! She has left them covered in muck for months at friend’s house. I have washed them with warm soapy water to get all the actual mud off but they still look muddy, like the mud is burnt into them.

Does anyone know how they can be cleaned on the molecular level 😂?

It is important to remove the mud as soon as possible, as dried mud and dirt will draw the moisture from your boots which will make them peel and reduce their lifespan

Makes me glad mine are big standard wellies from the farm supplies shop!

Neat bleach on a damp sponge and wipes and left overnight can sometimes work.

Sometimes it's just too ingrained to restore completely.

Scrub with a stiff nail brush type thing with hot soapy water.

You can buy a buffing spray which might help?
