I recently had need to find some photos of myself for a leadership conference thing I'm running (don't ask!) and it made me realise that:
a) I do not take enough photos, there is almost no proof I've even been alive the last 10 or so years aside from my wedding!
b) What photos I do have definitely do not feel like all that I've taken and some have gone AWOL probably due to phone issues (I am looking to see if these have been backed up anywhere!).
But it has really made me sad that I don't have more pics to look back through and reminisce, which got me thinking that I really have no idea how to organise/store pics. Back when I had a separate digital camera I was much more diligent (through having no choice) at downloading and storing/printing photos out. Now I just take pics on my phone they live there never looked at, never enjoyed and as it happens - possibly not even safely!
I would be really interested in how people actually manage in the digital era to take decent pics and then actually enjoy them? Or at least not lose them! I feel like a big chunk of my life is almost missing, it would be really nice to be able to have something to look back through, especially as my family get older.
