Mcdonalds or a fry up from cafe?

Extremely sleep deprived. DD who is 5 isn't sleeping well and it's killing me. Its akin to feeling hungover.

Only thing that will sort me out today is some grease..

Choices are McDonald's or a fry up from the cafe... which would you choose?

Cafe would be more filling. I’m always starving half an hr after Mc D’s.

Westfacing · 19/11/2023 11:55

Caff fry-up!

watchyourfriends · 19/11/2023 11:55

Definitely a fry up from a cafe

Fry up

MinnieL · 19/11/2023 11:55

Fry up at a cafe of course!

Katrinawaves · 19/11/2023 11:55

Cafe for me too!

Hellocatshome · 19/11/2023 11:56

Fry up from cafe then you won't still be hungry after and supporting local business.

Mammyloveswine · 19/11/2023 11:57

Wetherspoons breakfast! Their eggs Benedict is lush! And refills on the coffee!

gotomomo · 19/11/2023 11:58

McDonald's for me as don't like most the things on a fry up, if cafe does omelettes though I'm in

DrFoxtrot · 19/11/2023 11:58

I agree with the above but also the convenience of a drive through McDs breakfast sat in your car, time out from life, has to be factored in 😆

margotrose · 19/11/2023 11:58

Personally I'd go with a McDonald's as fry-ups can be really hit and miss as to how satisfying they are.

BuiltThisCityOnRockAndRoll · 19/11/2023 11:59

Both cafe and mcdonalds are 1 minute away from each other.. 😅.. I'm veering towards a large fry up too

Agree!
Yes something from the cafe would be better.

sixteenfurryfeet · 19/11/2023 12:00

It's a Sunday morning so fry-up 100%. McDonalds is for Saturday mornings.

DramaAlpaca · 19/11/2023 12:01

Cafe for sure, with a big pot of tea.

kezzykicks · 19/11/2023 12:02

Cafe for me, not a fan of MacDonald's breakfasts. Enjoy whichever you chose!

TragicMuse · 19/11/2023 12:03

Fry up! Proper sausages not a sausage 'patty', lots of toast, eggs the way you want them, big mug of tea or coffee. Slightly steamy windows, the warm atmosphere of the cafe...

Perfection.

ProvisionsOnTheDock · 19/11/2023 12:04

Neither, I'd find somewhere that does eggs benedict and go there.

minipie · 19/11/2023 12:05

Fry up definitely. Someone bringing you your food. As long as it’s warm in there - our local has a constant stream of people who pop in for a takeaway coffee and leave the door wide open!

theriseandfallofFranklinSaint · 19/11/2023 12:06

McDonald's as it would faster than a fry up in a cafe!

Sausage & Egg McMuffin, 2 hash browns, cappuccino... I'm starving now!

Wetherspoons is a good call though 👍

theriseandfallofFranklinSaint · 19/11/2023 12:07

And hang on, will McDonald's have stopped breakfasts now at 12pm?

This

But if there isn't somewhere that does that I'd have a fry up with lots of runny poached eggs, mushrooms and potatoes

Yep.

If you go to McDonald's it would have to be a burger or something.

blackoverbillsmothers · 19/11/2023 12:09

Cafe. It’s a no brainer.

MCOut · 19/11/2023 12:12

Cafe!
