I know there have been a few threads recently about Physicians Associates and some instances of them not making clear to patients that they are not a Doctor.

The union has called for the recruitment of less qualified staff to be paused.

We’re heading for a healthcare system where people who can’t afford anything else get seen in the NHS by one of these minimally trained “associates”, and anyone who wants to see a proper doctor has to pay privately 🥺
