I went shopping with my elderly neighbour yesterday just so she had company while we pottered about the shops and browsed for Christmas ideas and presents.
She spotted a guy begging with a dog sat outside one of the major stores and immediately went into the nearest food store to pick up some dog food and treats.
The look of pure delight on this mans' face was a real pick me up on a drab wet afternoon that another dog lover cared enough to help him feed his best mate for a couple of days.
Has anyone else had any other happy reactions to a simple act of kindness?
