I’m really hoping someone can help me! I can picture a scene but cannot picture the actors.

Couple, married I believe with children, talk about (possibly with friends) if one of them was to die how long would you wait to meet someone else/remarry. I think the women gives a really low answer like a year or something. Husband gets cross, keeps bringing it up and is annoyed. Wife eventually says that she hates thinking about him dying so just said something to stop the conversation. She hates the thought of dragging the kids to his grave on Christmas.

I think it was a comedy, doesn’t sound like it I know, but sure it was. Unsure if it’s US or UK.

Does this sound familiar to anyone as it’s driving me loopy!!! Even checked my recently watched but nothing!!! 😭😭

Thank you all so much for your replies. I’m not sure it’s any of the above, Modern Family I’ve watched but again not recently.

It was definitely about one of the dying and the other getting remarried. They definitely had kids because I think it was the wife who said she would drag the kids to his grave at Christmas and they wouldn’t want to go.

You know when something just keeps repeating in your mind and you won’t be all to rest until it’s resolved, dramatic I know but that’s how I feel right now!! 😂

I’d be fairly sure this was from Catastrophe as a pp suggested!
