Weekend Plans?

Evening all - anyone up to much this weekend? DH & I are making the most of the final night of peace before DD14 is back in the house tomorrow night. Probably watch some of Children In Need & switch over for Corrie. Got Asda curries & naans for tea & I have already started on a bottle of 14% wine! Working tomorrow but only for 4 hours. On Sunday I want to go to a Christmas craft fair at a local stately home. It’s one of my favourite places to go but I’ve never been to the fair & it’s supposed to be lovely. Bangers, double cream mash & baked beans for tea.

DP's on a pre-Christmas diet so no drink or indulgent food for us.

DP gets back from a work trip this evening. We'll eat, watch TV, separate beds so he can get some sleep.
Tomorrow will be cleaning, playing board games, Christmas shopping online, dog walks and perhaps sorting out the freezer.
Sunday DP will likely be working in the home office. I'm off to the garden centre to buy a dracaena dorado plant for the spare bedroom, and some Christmas tat. In the evening I might wax my legs.

Please, OP, try and contain your jealousy at how exciting my life is: Sorting out the freezer and waxing my legs. In one weekend. Absolute party central.

I'm excited because I've got some chocolate covered baklava hidden to eat when the child is in bed. Tomorrow is just tidying up the allotment and Sunday either swimming or the museum, depending on how much I feel like getting wet in public.

I was meant to be going on a mums night out tonight but I've cancelled as I'm exhausted from work and lack of sleep this week - so going to do pizza for tea once DD's asleep and crash. DH is working tomorrow, and the weather's going to be awful, so I've got some Christmas crafts coming in the grocery order tomorrow to do with DD. Might go out for a puddle walk if there's a break in the rain. I'm not sure about Sunday - DH might take DD to soft play, or we might all go out for lunch... we'll see what our mood is on the day!
