Sorry to see that we have lost AS Byatt. Possession and The Children's Book are both absolute masterpieces.

Ah, I just saw this. Definitely one of our great writers. Still Life was actually my favourite, but I read it a long time ago.
I haven't read The Children's Book. I may seek it out now.

I just love Possession. I vividly remember reading it for the first time when I was about 22.
