London Lights with tweens - what to see and where to eat?

Hi, we won't have loads of time as going to see a show so would really love some suggestions of where to eat (thought Maxwells would be good but its not got tables free) and where to walk to see some good lights around theatreland in London. Thanks

There is an indoor food market in seven dials with lots of options, which might be fun with tweens and quick pre-theatre.

For lights, just do a loop around Covent Garden and the streets in seven dials.

Go to New Bond Street, Piccadilly (Fortnum and Mason) and around Covent Garden. There's a normal bus that famously goes around the best streets for lights, can't remember the number though, or there's also open top bus tours specifically for the lights. Seven Dials market is a good option!
