Two week cough and nausea

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? I have had symptoms of nausea (worst symptom), headache, dry tickly annoying cough, slight runny nose for about two weeks now. It’s worse at night. I will make an appointment with GP if it carries on much longer.

It just sounds viral. Unless there is reason to believe you have an infection that you're body is struggling to fight, there's really no need to see a GP as they'll be unable to give you anything. Much more appropriate to see a pharmacist and start supplementing/using natural remedies.

It's probably covid, and yes there's a wave at the moment.

There are loads of threads about people being unwell, or being run down.

Best thing you can do for any infection that is likely to be covid is rest. Trying to push through always seems to make things worse

Thanks for replies. I might buy a Covid test. I have to keep working If I can but am trying to rest a lot in the evening.

Thanks @wherethewestwindblows , I think you are right and even though I know, not much can be done for viral infections, the nausea is bad so I may ask for anti-sickness tablets either at pharmacy or GP. Have tried natural remedies and will continue with them as they do help. Probably need a sustained release good vitamin c. Will try and get the energy to go this weekend.

I have all those symptoms plus I'm breathless.

Dd has been like this for about three weeks now. Covid negative. I’ve just bought her some vitamin supplements and immune boosters to try to sort her out.

Lots of viruses can make you feel like this (not just covid). I know quite a few people who have these symptoms, it’s that time of year. Get well soon.

I had these symptoms about a month ago. It was Covid.
