Skate parks - where to start for DD who wants to try it?

DD (7) wants to have a go on our local skate park.

She currently has a Micro scooter Cruiser which is a 2-wheel scooter with chunky wheels and steering is done from the handlebars.

Could she have a go using the scooter she already has so that we can test out if she actually likes it?

Other option is to ask Grandma to buy her a basic stunt scooter plus safety gear from Christmas.

She can have a go but really a stunt scooter would be better. Go early in the morning before the teenagers take over. Or look at some of the indoor skate parks as they will often run beginner sessions and have instructors etc to help guide her.

Thanks for replying

Stunt scooters aren't as pricey as I'd assumed. SkateHut have one for around £40 so it's feasible to get her one to have a go with.
