What are your silly self imposed rules?

I have realised I have some rather silly rules that I live by;
wont eat anywhere that does bottomless brunch
must write in blue pen
must have tea as my first and last drink of the day
must read magazines in order of start to finish

Anyone else or am I mad?

If I’m clothes shopping, see something I like and the first one I pick up happens to be my size, I have to buy it, even if I was only browsing.

If an odd sock appears in the clean washing, I don't peg it out or put it in the dryer with the other socks, in case the "decently paired" socks start hankering for the single life. I dry the aberrant sock separately and put another wash on with its partner ASAP (partner sock also dried separately) so they can be together again.
