Bleeding after dtd

Posting here for traffic.

Since the beginning of the year I've starting to get dark gunky blood after sex not all of the time but a lot of the time.

I've had a colposcopy since then as I had an abnormal smear. That came back clear. I also had an ultrasound to make sure my coil was in place and that came back clear too with coil in place.

Should I just accept this as something that will happen to me now?

no, you should not

you should go back to your GP. promptly

No definitely don't just accept it as it's not normal. I also have this and after a lot of investigations was diagnosed with PCOS and fibroids

I do have pcos but I'm 37 and never had this before. The radiographer didn't see anything that should cause bleeding. Colposcopy biopsies came back clear. I don't know what else it can be?

You don’t and we don’t because we aren’t medical professionals

I had a cervical ectropion which presented like this. It just needed cauterising (three times). It went away when I came off the pill.
My friend had this and it was cervical cancer. She survived, just.

The GP needs to investigate it and you need to push them for an answer.
Vaginal bleeding outside of your period isn't normal. Pain isn't normal.
