Who's your favourite TV couple?

I like Onslow and Daisy from Keeping Up Appearances. They bounce off each other so well.

Pam & Mick from Gavin and Stacey.

The ultimate ‘couple goals’ couple 🤣

Morse and Lewis

Spike and Buffy. The way he looked at her and always had her back, no matter what, so beautiful.

CeciledeVolangesdeNouveau · 12/01/2024 15:39

I’m actually going with Donna Noble and David Tennant - strong friendship not a couple but hugely good influences on each other, always have each others’ backs etc. Just an amazing mix. They work amazingly as the friends they are and would work as well as a forty-year-married couple.

HippyChickMama · 12/01/2024 15:44

Pete and Sue in Outnumbered - surprisingly laid back given some of the behaviour of their dc
Also Pam and Mick - I'd love for me and dh to be like Pam and Mick but I sometimes worry we're more like Pete and Dawn 😂

OriginalUsername2 · 12/01/2024 15:50

Jimmy Mcguill and Kim Wexler.

I love how they listen to the other’s decisions and just go “Okay!” and trust that the other knows what they’re doing. It’s a flawed relationship but I love it. Not at all on the nose but still lots of tenderness shown.

I agree with this. Pam is so funny.

My mum and dad are exactly like Pam and Mick, my DD is 13 and she just recently watched Gavin and Stacy for the first time and she was gobsmacked..."you CANNOT tell me this was not based on Gran and Papa" 🤣🤣

PGmicstand · 12/01/2024 16:19

Sue Johnson and Ricky Tomlinson, as whoever they are playing.
More recently the characters Aziraphale and Crowley, and the characters Alison and Mike (it's such a shame about Havers and Cap., they'd have been wonderful together).

EllieQ · 12/01/2024 16:32

John Crichton and Aeryn Sun in Farscape.
