Vinted - is there a unisex baby / kids clothes category?

Not sure this is the right place - happy to be redirected to another topic!

Im listing some of DS’s old clothes on Vinted - good quality baby stuff. Like a lot of newborn stuff, it’s totally unisex / asexual. However, I can only seem to list the items as ‘baby boy clothes’ or ‘baby girl clothes’.

Is there a just ‘baby clothes’ category? Or do I just need to upload them all twice, one in girls category and one in boys?

Don't upload into both if any sell at the same time you've got problems with sales having to be cancelled. Can you list them in the boys category if your son wore them but use key words in the title - like unisex white baby tshirt age 3-6 months, ideal for boys or girls? Or something like that Smile

Most people rightly or wrongly will search via the category that is their child's sex.

Are there negative ramifications of cancelled sales? Does Vinted mark you as a bad seller or something?

No! And this is really annoying and old-fashioned tbh.
Come on, vinted!

I don’t think so.

This puts me off listing kids stuff on Vinted too! Selecting a boys/girls category makes me feel as though I’m perpetuating gender stereotypes and part of the problem

You can't double list

One will be removed

And if you don't deliver on a sale you get automatic negative feedback

I know, it's so annoying. You can't list twice.

I just list them in what I think people will most likely expect to see them under, and then put Boys Girls Unisex as part of the title. I even put that on very stereotypically boy clothes, because lots of girls like diggers and monster trucks too 🙄

Really Vinted need to add the ability to have more than one category, like Ebay used to.

I would list under boys because broadly people seem to be happier to put girls in clothes labelled for boys than vice versa.

Personally though I don’t search in categories, I’ll just search an item and size (eg “Winnie the Pooh sleepsuit” and filter to 3-6 months and very good condition) so stuff comes up either way

Yes this did indeed happen this morning. I double listed and vinted removed. Bother.
