Small baby & low amniotic

Hello 👋🏻 I went for a scan yesterday & didn’t come out of it with the best news! The sonographer was great & spent lots of time with us. We did an external & internal scan. Basically my baby is not growing at the correct rate. I should be 14 weeks but baby is measuring 12. I had my 12 week scan almost 3 weeks ago & measured 11.4weeks then, so you can see not much growth. Also, he said I don’t have much amniotic fluid, so baby can’t move around much. The baby is all cramped up. Unable to do nuchal scan due to baby’s position. Midwife has made referral to EPU for another scan. Any experience or advice?

Try not to worry could be nothing, I just had my daughter at 20weeks but she died 3mins later she had spina bifida so was for the best but I'm struggling hope u ok

Do you know exactly when you conceived? I had exactly the same as you but I knew date of conception. My baby was measuring small and I had very little amniotic fluid. They suspected prom (this was at 20 week scan). Sonographer put the fear of god in me. I was rescanned two weeks later and there was growth so no need for them to take any further action. Baby born at 43 weeks (according to their calculations-42 according to mine) and weighed 9lb.

Do you wanna private message me? Was only 3weeks ago but been having lot of sex because we want another I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks then still born at 20 weeks I do already have 2 children , I'm scared in case it happens again 😥 so you had still born?

I know when I ovulated as I did tests. And according to last period, I should be about 16 weeks. At 12 week scan I was 11 weeks & 4 days. Then las Sunday I went for the scan & was measuring 12 weeks & 2 days (almost 3 weeks since dating scan). And sonographer said I had low amniotic fluid. Referral has been made to Fetal Medicine & I’m waiting for an appointment. X
