I am shocked and sickened at the news coming out about the child abuse ring in Scotland.

The acts are extremely depraved.

How can anyone be so vile?!

I seen this today truly heartbreaking as a victim of sexual abuse my thoughts are with the victims whose lives will never be the same again, no sentence will give them their childhoods back I really hope they get the ongoing support a truly sickening case

Utterly sickening! How did they find each other? How does this even being to be something that a number of people want to get involved in 😔 poor kids

I honestly don’t know how victims of SA get through life, especially child SA.

It must affect your entire lives.

That’s what I find so frustrating/sickening.

If it’s a person working alone or even a pair then it’s bad enough but to find a group of likeminded people is shocking.

And you would think just one of them would say that enough is enough or let’s not hurt them anymore.

Thank you it's been tough but with years and years of intensive therapy things have got much better, but it's likely the ptsd will never go away but I've got to be strong for my son sometimes I'm a bit overprotective of my DS and he being autistic he gets overwhelmed with it, it's something I'm working on with my counsellor, one thing I'm sure of now is he made me a better stronger and kinder human being it's just sad that sometimes victims are let down with the aftercare whilst the pepratrators seem to get all the support

Good fucking grief. That is one of the worst things I've ever had the misfortune to ever read.

The thing is, people would have seen the kids and known something was wrong. Years of neglect, headlice, filthy clothing? Short of locking the children up 24/7 other adults would have seen and heard these people.

So why did it take so long.

I am in utter shock that such depravity occurs. I actually don’t know what else to say. Those poor children.

Just awful, those poor children. Makes me lose faith in humanity.
I hope the ones convicted have a really shit time of it in prison. All of them should be wiped out of existence really , but instead the tax payers will keep them going
I hope that the victims are helped.

I know that the majority of people are good but things like this make you lose faith a little.

Children are there to be protected.

Is this the same case I read about a couple of years ago where there were more names but I gather some have now died ? May have been another case in Scotland

This seems to be an extended family of depraved evil scum bags

Let's hope these children get all the help available and can find loving caring homes.

I truly hope they get a very warm welcome in prison
