I'm not a hater, or particularly a lover, of reborn dolls...but yeah the eyes are way too wide open!

Creepy

Why does it look like it's got a grubby face? I feel like I need to take a flannel to it.

RecoveringBorderline · 14/11/2023 22:25

It looks more frightened than frightening. To me that is what it makes it disturbing. Why would someone want such an unhappy looking doll?

Pinkpinkpink15 · 14/11/2023 22:30

I think it's probably the angle and the lighting. If you enlarge the photo & move it around it's fine.

27icey · 14/11/2023 22:32

It looks AI generated to me.

nocoolnamesleft · 14/11/2023 22:33

I really dislike reborn dolls. They look too much like freshly dead babies. I was once caught out by one in a bassinet on the counter in a toy shop (in fairness there had been none in there on my previous visit), and had actually grabbed it to start CPR before embarrassedly realising.

I genuinely wouldn’t sleep if that was in my house. I can imagine it crawling along the ceiling like in trainspotting. Very disturbing

Jeez yes...That scene with the neglected, grimy 'Nightmare' baby {fake!} - It was truly grim.
