London Southbank Christmassy this weekend?

I’m passing through Waterloo on Saturday afternoon. Just occurred to me that London probably has it’s Christmas lights up by now and this is finally the first Christmas I’m looking forward to since I lost my darling mum 5 years ago so I’m well up for a bit of early festive feeling .
I’ve got a few hours to mooch and have a drink and food - anyone got any recommendations? Can be further out than that as I have a bit of time

Seven Dials and Covent Garden always look really lovely around Christmas time - lots of nice shops/places to eat there too. I think there's a lit-up tunnel at the entrance to Neal's Yard this year, too.

Great shout, I know they’re all so busy especially at that sort of time on a Saturday but the last time I felt any kind of festive ness was just before she died which was Christmas 2018 and I remember being in London the week before and life was good and sparkly so I just want to feel a bit of that magic again ☺️
