Spending a few days in Cardiff - anyone local or visited recently got any good recommendations for places to eat - both for breakfast and evening meals?

Went to uni in Cardiff but many years ago.

What sort of food do you like?

Smokehaus is nice for American style bbq food
Pasture for steak
Giggling Squid for Thai food
There's the Ivy and Ivy Asia if that you're thing?
Mowgli's
Also The Potted Pig is nice.

Not sure about breakfast, sorry!

This place is lovely, it's where Celtic Cauldron used to be, opposite the castle.
