Help me! NYE Fancy dress ideas.

I've reluctantly accepted an invite to a family members NYE fancy dress party, and I realise it's early to be thinking about what to wear, but as a rule, I am a procrastinator so it's just something I need to be proactive in thinking about otherwise before I know it, it'll be NYE and I'm going as me.

Anyway, any ideas what to wear, I genuinely can't think.

Mid 40s F.

I'm kinda steering away from anything too risqué (ie French maid, nurse etc) so I'm really struggling.

Please help :-)

How about dressing as someone from 1924 (flapper girl style)?

Get a big rectangular box and put head and arm holes in it and paint it to look like a digital clock with the time 20.24 on it in glow in the dark pen/paint

I’d carry in with the procrastinating and go as me. In fact I’d schedule in a migraine. I hate fancy dress. Ruins a good party. I’d have more fun home alone.
Nobody tell me I’m no fun please. I am fun. I know how to have a good time. Fancy dress isn’t it.

Keep it simple and something you can be comfortable wearing. Have you got an outfit that can be easily adapted with the use of a few accessories - hats / wigs / belts
