People who do gel nails with lamps at home! Advice needed.

I like to have my nails done but it’s ridiculously expensive in my opinion to keep it up.

Standard gel nail polish lasts just 2-3 days before chipping with me but builder gel (where they seem to put a fair few coats of clear stuff on before and after the colour) lasts a lot longer. Although this is more expensive.

So I was wondering if it is achievable for me to do this at home if I got a few colours (I always get the same colours), the clear builder gel stuff and the lamp?

My daughters clubbed money together and bought the Mylee lamp and nail polish set. They always up end up looking really good.
