Has anyone been to Lapland after Christmas? Is it just as magical as before Christmas?

I've been in March before. It's warmer, roughly 0 degrees celcius. The snow is really deep because it's been snowing for months and it was really magical and loads cheaper ⭐

Late February/Early March is the best time to go to Lapland (went every few years as a child). The snow is the best of the season, there's a lot more light (and the icy top layer of snow sparkles in the sunlight like diamonds - so much better than dark December), and if you manage to avoid local school holiday weeks it'll be quieter and cheaper. Can still be very cold though, but the sunlight in the daytime makes it feel warmer.

We went in January. It was delightfully snowy, there were no crowds and it cost us €1500 for four people for a week, flights and all. I'd highly recommend it!
